Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, combines the use of acupuncture, moxibustion, Chinese herbs, cupping, gua sha, Tui Na (bodywork), dietary modifications and a complex system of diagnosis to guide the body towards balance and harmony.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, single-use, sterile needles into acupuncture points to help redirect the flow of the Qi in the body. Acupuncture increases circulation and blood flow at the site of needle insertion, thereby helping to guide the body towards a more balanced state and reduce pain..

Chinese Herbal Therapy
Chinese Herbs help stimulate the body’s natural healing process by addressing the underlying root cause of various medical conditions, both acute and chronic. Some of these conditions include common colds, allergies, PMS, stress, digestive disorders, joint pain, and other aging related degenerative diseases. Chinese Herbs are custom prescribed and tailored to your body’s constitution.

Moxibustion
Moxibustion utilizes aged mugwort, or Artemisia Vulgaris, which is burned over the skin or on top of an acupuncture needle and can enhance an acupuncture treatment. Moxibustion introduces heat to warm and soothe a variety of conditions including pain, trauma, arthritic conditions and poor digestion.

Gua sha
Gua Sha involves the application of pressure by scraping your skin with a massage tool. This technique can help alleviate musculoskeletal tension and discomfort.
Tui Na
Tui Na utilizes acupressure and incorporates orthopedic tests to identify imbalances and guide the body back into balance. Tui Na increases better circulation and blood flow in the affected area.
